Online tutoring mein sabse pehle ye tay karo: kya padhaoge aur kisko. "Main sab padha sakta hoon" se parents ko bharosa nahi hota. "Class 6-8 maths, Hindi medium se English medium mein aaye bachchon ke liye" jaisi saaf baat yaad rehti hai.
1Maang wale area
- School: class 1-10 maths, science, English (sabse zyada maang)
- Board exam: class 10/12 ke specific subjects
- Spoken English: bachche, college students, job seekers
- Skills: Excel, Canva, coding basics, AI tools (college students aur working log)
- Hobbies: drawing, music, yoga (agar tum sach mein achhe ho)
- Bade log: phone, UPI, WhatsApp, online safety basics
2Kaise chunein
- Tum is subject mein confident ho (galti kam, samjhana aata hai)
- Tumne pehle kisi ko sikhaya hai (dost, bhai-behen)
- Aas-paas ya online iski maang hai
- Tum is level ke 3 mushkil sawaal aaraam se samjha sakte ho
Shuru mein ek subject + ek level. Baad mein badhao.
3Likho
- Template mein 3 options likho (subject + level).
- Har ek pe 4 sawaal ka jawab do (confident, sikhaya, maang, 3 mushkil sawaal).
- Ek chuno aur ek line banao: "Main ____ ko ____ padhata/padhati hoon, taaki ____."
Example: Maan lo: saaf line ka asar
Maan lo Ritu ka status tha "Tuition available". Kisi ne poocha nahi. Usne likha: "Class 6-8 maths, NCERT, roz 45 min online, pehli class free, har hafte parents ko update". Usi hafte 3 parents ne message kiya, kyunki unhe turant pata chala ki ye unke bachche ke liye hai.
Aam galtiyan
- Sab subjects, sab classes.
- Jisme khud confident nahi, woh padhana.
- Maang dekhe bina chunna.
Practice task
3 options likho, 4 sawaal se jaancho aur ek line banao.
Jaldi se recap
- Kya + kisko
- School, board, English, skills, hobbies
- 4 sawaal: confident, sikhaya, maang, 3 mushkil
- Ek subject + ek level
- Ek line
In online tutoring, first decide what you will teach and to whom. "I can teach everything" does not build trust with parents. A clear line like "Class 6-8 maths, for children moving from Hindi medium to English medium" is memorable.
1Areas in demand
- School: class 1-10 maths, science, English (the highest demand)
- Board exams: specific class 10/12 subjects
- Spoken English: children, college students, job seekers
- Skills: Excel, Canva, coding basics, AI tools (college students and working people)
- Hobbies: drawing, music, yoga (if you are genuinely good)
- Older adults: phone, UPI, WhatsApp, online safety basics
2How to choose
- You are confident in the subject (few mistakes, you can explain it)
- You have taught someone before (a friend, a sibling)
- There is demand for it nearby or online
- You can comfortably explain 3 hard questions at this level
Start with one subject + one level. Expand later.
3Write it
- Write 3 options in the template (subject + level).
- Answer the 4 questions for each (confident, taught before, demand, 3 hard questions).
- Pick one and write a line: "I teach ____ to ____, so that ____."
Example: Say: the effect of a clear line
Say Ritu's status said "Tuition available". Nobody asked. She wrote: "Class 6-8 maths, NCERT, 45 min online daily, first class free, weekly updates to parents". 3 parents messaged that same week, because they could see at once that it was for their child.
Common mistakes
- All subjects, all classes.
- Teaching what you are not confident in.
- Choosing without checking demand.
Practice task
Write 3 options, test them with the 4 questions, and write your line.
Quick recap
- What + to whom
- School, boards, English, skills, hobbies
- 4 questions: confident, taught, demand, 3 hard questions
- One subject + one level
- One line
