1Har agent ke 5 hisse
- Maksad: ek saaf kaam ("saree ki dukaan ke customers ke sawaalon ke jawab dena").
- Instructions: role, niyam, steps, lehja, format.
- Jaankari (knowledge): business ki sach jaankari (daam, timing, policy).
- Tools / actions: baat ke alawa kya kar sakta hai (sheet mein save, email ka draft).
- Insaan ki jaanch: kahan insaan dekhta ya sambhaalta hai (refund, shikayat, paisa).
Agar tum ye 5 ek page pe nahi likh sakte, toh agent banane ke liye taiyaar nahi hai.
2Agent vs chatbot vs automation
- Chatbot: baat karta hai, koi fix kaam nahi, business ki jaankari nahi.
- Automation: fix niyam, sochta nahi (form bhara toh email bhejo).
- Agent: automation + ek fix kaam ke andar AI ki samajh (enquiry padho, decide karo lead hai ya shikayat, save karo, reply draft karo).
Achhe agents patle hote hain: ek kaam achhe se karna "sab kuch karne" se behtar hai.
3Agents ko (abhi) kya nahi karna chahiye
- Khud se paisa bhejna, order dena ya cheezein cancel karna.
- Medical, legal ya financial salaah dena.
- Bina insaan ke dekhe customers ko message bhejna (shuru mein).
- Password, OTP, card ya Aadhaar ki details sambhaalna.
"AI draft kare, insaan bheje" se shuru karo. Hafton ke achhe test results ke baad hi azaadi badhao.
Example: Maan lo: coaching centre ki raat wali enquiries
Maan lo ek coaching centre ko roz 30 WhatsApp aur form enquiries aati hain, kaafi raat ko. Ek page ka plan: Maksad: fee aur batch ke sawaalon ka jawab do aur naam + class lo. Instructions: tameez se, chhota, Hinglish. Jaankari: fee sheet aur batch timing. Action: har enquiry Google Sheet mein save. Insaan ki jaanch: counsellor agli subah har lead ko call karta hai. Yahi agent hai: patla, kaam ka aur safe.
Aam galtiyan
- Aisa agent banana jo "sab kuch" kare.
- Paise ya shikayat ke liye insaan ki jaanch chhod dena.
- Ek page ka plan likhe bina banana shuru karna.
Practice task
Apne aas-paas ka ek asli ya sample business chuno. Uske agent ka ek page ka plan 5 hisson ke saath likho: maksad, instructions (5 lines), kya jaankari chahiye, ek action, aur insaan kahan jaanchega.

A normal chatbot answers what you type. An AI agent is given a goal and works towards it: it follows instructions, uses knowledge you give it, can use tools (a sheet, email, a form) and hands over to a human when needed. In this course you build agents without code, for real small businesses.
1The 5 parts of every agent
- Goal: one clear job ("answer customer questions for a saree shop").
- Instructions: role, rules, steps, tone, format.
- Knowledge: the business's true information (prices, timings, policies).
- Tools / actions: what it can do besides talking (save to a sheet, draft an email).
- Human check: where a person reviews or takes over (refunds, complaints, money).
If you cannot write all 5 in one page, the agent is not ready to build.
2Agent vs chatbot vs automation
- Chatbot: talks, no fixed job, no business knowledge.
- Automation: fixed rule, no thinking (when a form is filled, send an email).
- Agent: automation + AI judgement inside a fixed job (read an enquiry, decide if it is a lead or a complaint, save it, draft a reply).
Good agents are narrow: one job done well beats "do everything".
3What agents should not do (yet)
- Move money, place orders or cancel things on their own.
- Give medical, legal or financial advice.
- Send messages to customers without a human seeing them first (when you are starting).
- Handle passwords, OTPs, card or Aadhaar details.
Start with "AI drafts, human sends". Increase freedom only after weeks of good test results.
Example: Say: a coaching centre's night enquiries
Say a coaching centre gets 30 WhatsApp and form enquiries a day, many at night. A one-page plan: Goal: answer fee and batch questions and collect name + class. Instructions: polite, short, Hinglish. Knowledge: fee sheet and batch timings. Action: save each enquiry to a Google Sheet. Human check: the counsellor calls every lead next morning. That is an agent: narrow, useful and safe.
Common mistakes
- Trying to build an agent that "does everything".
- Skipping the human check for money or complaints.
- Building before writing the one-page plan.
Practice task
Pick one real or sample business near you. Write its one-page agent plan with the 5 parts: goal, instructions (5 lines), knowledge needed, one action, and where a human checks.
